As of this date, we no longer require you to wear a mask in store. If you feel comfortable wearing a mask, please do so! We also have no limits on capacity any longer. If you’re more comfortable with curbside pickup, please give us a call – we’re happy to accommodate!

As of January 5, 2022, we are in a modified step-two, which means we’re limited to 50% capacity (5 customers in the shop at one time). Masks are mandatory. If you are unable to wear a mask, we ask that you call or email and we can help you get whatever you need. All classes have been cancelled at this time.

As of this morning, our shop will be closed for a period of 4 weeks (at least) due to the State of Emergency Stay-at-Home Order issued by the Premier yesterday. Our doors will be closed, but we’re permitted to work in the shop getting your orders together for Canada Post shipping or Curb-Side Pickup. We will make sure to wipe down all surfaces on a continual basis, including doors, counters, POS terminal pin-pad, etc. If you’re uncomfortable with coming into the shop, we’re still doing curb-side pick-up and shipping via Canada Post. Our shop will be closed to walk-in traffic as of Monday, December 21st, 2020, as per Premier Ford’s decision to move Hamilton to Grey/Lockdown status. This will be in effect indefinitely. While our doors will be locked, we’ll be working behind the scenes to get you your products via curbside pickup and Canada Post shipping. We’ll also be attempting to get many finished goods online for purchase. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns about products/pricing, etc.

Masks will now be mandatory in our shop, as per the city of Hamilton By-Law. Please ensure you bring a mask when you plan your trip to the shop! We won’t be allowed to let you in without one.
May 20, 2020 – Store Opening Update
We will be opening our shop to the public on Thursday, May 21st, at 9:00am.
Mandatory Government Regulations:
- Only 2 (two) customers in the shop at one time (please don’t bring the whole family)
- Please wear a face mask, for your safety and ours
- Please use hand sanitizer upon entry (provided by the door)
We will make sure to wipe down all surfaces on a continual basis, including doors, counters, POS terminal pin-pad, etc.
For those uncomfortable with coming into the shop… We completely understand! We’re still doing curb-side pick-up for those that prefer that option. Please reach out if you have any questions at all.
All of this said, we’re going to be constantly re-assessing how this is working, and if we feel that we can’t safely maintain physical distancing, we will re-visit how we operate.

While we remain closed to the public, we’re still here accepting orders and answering questions. We’ve recently launched some products for sale on our website, which is totally new for us. Please be patient and reach out if you’re having any issues purchasing. We’ve launched a couple of patterns (more to come) and some hand-stitching kits. We’re working to get even more up there for you, to make it easier to get what you need. Because we’re considered a non-essential business, we will remain closed to the public at this time. Due to the steady increase in COVID-19 cases, we will no longer be offering curbside/store pick-up, in an attempt to slow the spread and encourage people to stay home.
As always, you can email or call the shop to place orders. Once we know what you’d like, we can easily get you a shipping quote. We’re accepting VISA/Mastercard over the phone, or e-transfer to info@tundraleather.ca.

Due to the State of Emergency declared by our Premier, Doug Ford, our store will be closed effective immediately, until further notice. This was not an easy decision for us, nor has it been for anyone (small business or large). We want to do what’s best for our city as a whole..and that’s stopping this virus in its tracks.
Orders
Our hours will be limited in the shop (and will be affected slightly), so please be patient with us. However, you can place an order for custom work or supplies via email (info@tundraleather.ca) or by phone (905-527-7745). Please avoid placing orders on Instagram or Facebook as they’re harder for us to keep track of. We will be accepting payment in the form of e-transfer (email above) or VISA/Mastercard over the phone. We will package up any orders and we can either mail them or have them ready for pick-up at the door (you won’t be permitted to enter the building).
