Carving and Tooling Class

This is a two-hour class.  In the first half of the class, you will learn how to use different stamping tools to create patterns in coaster blanks.  The second half of the class will be carving, where you’ll trace patterns onto leather, carve them with a swivel knife, and emphasize all your cuts with different stamping tools and techniques. We will attempt to have you leave with a finished coaster, if time permits.

If you have some tools of your own, feel free to bring them.  If not, loaner tools will be available during the class and materials will be provided.  Following the class, all the tools and materials used will be available for purchase.
