Tool Sharpening Class

In this one-hour class you will learn the basics of sharpening common leatherworking tools, including French edgers, head knives, edge bevelers, and skiving knives. You’ll learn how to maintain a consistent edge, when to sharpen versus strop, and how to keep your tools working the way they should.

If you have a specific tool or knife you use in leatherwork that you’d like to learn how to sharpen, bring it in — we’ll work through it together.

✅ Small class size (maximum 4 people per session) for personalized guidance

If you have some tools of your own, feel free to bring them. If not, loaner tools will be available during the class and materials will be provided. Following the class, all of the tools and materials used will be available for purchase.
