Veg Tan Cut Straps

Tanned in Belgium at Tannerie Masure, our natural vegetable-tanned cowhide straps are cut from premium double shoulders right here in our shop. We use 8/9 oz leather, with a clean, natural surface and smooth back.

Because these straps are cut from double shoulders, they are approximately 48–55″ long. Natural veg tan is unfinished, making it a versatile choice for belts, straps, tooling, stamping, carving, dyeing, and other leathercraft projects.

We also sell this leather as full double shoulders, available in thicknesses ranging from 2/3 oz all the way up to 8/9 oz.

Please Note

As leather is a natural material, colour, grain, texture, and markings can vary from hide to hide. Natural markings and occasional minor blemishes may be present. Please refer to all product photos for examples of the variation you may receive.

Each strap is cut by hand to order, so please allow 1–2 business days for us to prepare your order.

Ordering Larger Quantities

There is a maximum of 10 straps per width per online order. However, our online listings are intended primarily for small-quantity orders.

If you are looking to order larger quantities across multiple widths — for example, 10 straps in several different sizes — please contact us by email before placing your order. This allows us to confirm that we have sufficient leather in stock to fill your order and advise you of any additional lead time that may be required.
